My name is Dan Olds and I am the creator of the online versions of Unity and Prophecy.

The most important thing you can do in this world is to put your faith in Yeshua (Jesus), who is the Jewish Messiah and the Savior of the World.  It is a better way to live and the only way to die.  This is what I believe:

I believe in one G-d as declared in the Sh'ma (Deuteronomy 6:4), who is Echad (a compound unity) and eternally existent in three persons: G-d, the Father, G-d, the Son, and G-d, the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh--Isaiah 48:16-17, Genesis 1:1, Exodus 3:6, Ephesians 4:4-6).

I believe in Messiah Yeshua's deity (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1,4), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14), His sinless life, His atoning death (Isaiah 53, Psalm 22), His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His future return in power and glory.

I believe that the Bible, consisting of the Tanach (Old Covenant Scriptures) and the B'rit Chadasha (New Covenant Scriptures), is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of G-d (Psalm 119:89, Proverb 30:5-6, 2Timothy 3:16-17).

I believe in G-d's eternal covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  I therefore, stand with and support my Jewish people and the State of Israel and hold fast to the Biblical heritage of my forefathers.

Let me tell you a story about a young man.  Here is a picture of him when he was 18 years old.  He is not Fido Castro's nephew or Charles Manson's cousin.  He looks stoned in this picture, but he has never even tried drugs.  

When he was 17, he used to hang out with all of his neighborhood friends.   This was in 1974.  He was a nice Jewish boy that went to a Conservative (not Reform or Orthodox) synagogue.  His neighbors were a bunch of Catholic party animals.   They smoked and drank and did drugs.  Suddenly it happened!  There was a powerful Jesus Movement in the early 1970's.  Jesus parties suddenly became the "in" thing.  Organizations like Jews for Jesus came roaring to life.   Jesus swept through the neighborhood like a wildfire.  Suddenly, the neighbors were a bunch of crazy, wild eyed, Christian fanatics!  They told the nice Jewish boy that if he died he was going to hell.  They gave him a copy of  "The Late Great Planet Earth"  by Hal Lindsay.  That book scared him to death!   They were bold in their witness to him.  They told him that because he was Jewish, he would be able to feast at the table and they would have to settle for the crumbs.  He thought they were crazy.  A young woman suddenly appeared one day and said that she was praying that the Lord would provide a Jewish person for her to show the many Old Testament prophecies to.  She sat him down in the neighbor's backyard and he reluctantly agreed to let her show him many prophecies that were fulfilled by Jesus.  He was scared.   He was confused.  He went to a place with them that suddenly sprung up called "Prince of Peace".  It was a bunch of young Jesus Freaks all gathered in one place.  It was totally crazy and overwhelming!  His parents told him to go see the Rabbi.  He went so see the Rabbi, but he took along with him one of the neighborhood girl Jesus Freaks.  She spent the whole time arguing with the Rabbi.   The Rabbi told him to come back again, but to come alone next time.  He went back to the Rabbi.  This time, the Rabbi told him not to make a rash decision.   He should study the religions of the world before converting to one of them.   What stupid advice.  The Rabbi should have tried to convince the young man to stay with traditional Judaism.  The young man graduated high school and went on to college.  He was afraid of dying and going to hell.  Every night he would pray:   "Dear God, If I die tonight please let Jesus take me away with him".   He told nobody about the prayer because he was embarrassed.  Ten years later he was still praying that prayer.  It was in his head but not in his heart.  He went to Israel and live there for nearly a year.  He came back, and it was now 1984.   In the 10 years, nobody seriously tried to witness to him about Jesus.  When he returned,  he was filled with an emptiness that he had never experienced.  He was thinking what is the use of living if he is just going to die anyway.  Life is meaningless!  We are just going to die anyway, so why live!  He started dating his old Jewish girlfriend that he had before he went to Israel.  A funny thing happened to her while he was in Israel.  Her brother had met a woman that had witnessed to him about Jesus being the Jewish Messiah.   They were both PhD chemists and so he approached the whole topic from an analytical viewpoint.  He put his faith in Jesus and started witnessing to his family.  He challenged his sister, who was our friend in Israels old girlfriend, to search the Old Testament for the truth.  She was very hostile to her brother believing in Jesus.   She finally read all of those wonderful prophecies in the Old Testament that were fulfilled by Jesus.  She was astonished at how obvious they were.  She put her faith in Jesus while our friend was in Israel.  One night after he returned, they were together and she very nervously told him about her decision to believe in Jesus.   To her surprise, he told her that was the answer to his spiritual emptiness and he soon put his faith in Jesus and his emptiness was filled!  They were married and now live happily ever after.  They have kids and dogs!  I know this story because this person is me!  Without the faithful witness of my Gentile friends, who knows what would have happened.   Without their boldness in proclaiming the gospel to me even though they were baby believers, who knows what would have happened.  Since I have put my faith in Yeshua, my whole life has changed.  I have been given wonderful gifts from the Lord.  The God who created the Universe and put all of the stars into the sky and the planets around the sun is my best friend!
